The International Image Festival is an event of electronic arts and digital culture organized by the Visual Design Department at the Universidad de Caldas in Colombia since 1997. This year, the Festival will host ISEA2017, one of the most important symposiums on Electronic Art in the world, and for the first time will be held in a Latin American country.

At the same time, the Festival will be part of selected cultural events in the ’Crusade Season France-Colombia’ initiative, led by the French Institute and the Ministry of Culture.

In this space, you’ll find the reunited programming for the 16th International Image Festival and ISEA 2017. This app enables you to create your own schedule for attending certain events during the Festival.

Maria Paulina Gutierrez Arango is a clothing and interactive designer. She has been working in arts and design since 2011. She is professional in fashion design and thesis student of MA interactive design. She has participated in design and fashion experiences like Colombiamoda 2008, Arts of Fashion Symposium in San Francisco 2010, Festival de la Imagen 2013-2016. She has worked in collaborative, individual and industrial projects in Colombia like Camilo Álvarez fashion designer, Taller Abierto, Casa Tres Patios, La Caja Producciones, Entreaguas swimwear, Rosario Galvis knitting, Castellano ethnic origins, Color Siete, Locus Espacio Creativo and Exploratorio. Today she is designing clothing for urban affordances and daily life experiences with wearable technology in art, technology and citizen laboratory in Caldas University.
